On February 27 and March 7, the first prototype of CEPC 650MHz klystron completed the pulse power test of 800kW and the continuous wave power test of 400kW. Under 800kW power, the microwave conversion efficiency was 62%, 1dB bandwidth > 1.0mhz and gain > 43dB.

CEPC 650MHz klystron has been successfully tested with a pulse power of 800kW and a continuous wave power of 400kW, which marks a breakthrough of independent research and development of the P-band continuous wave klystron in China and.
