CEPC MOST 2018 project application is officially approved on May 31th, 2018 (2018-5-31)

The 2018 National key research and development project "High energy circular electron positron collider key technology research and validation", which is supported by China Ministry of Science and technology, is officially approved on May 31th, 2018. This project is lead by IHEP, with 5 participating institutes, University of Science & Technology China, Shandong University, Nanjing University, Shanghai JiaoTong University and Northwestern Polytechnical University.

The project aims to focus on the validation of the key technology of accelerator, the key technology of silicon pixel tracker, and the key technology of high granularity imaging hadronic calorimeter. The project will last for five years，with the total funding of 31.45 million.
