Second Meeting of CEPC Detector International Review Committee Convenes, International Experts Affirm Project's Phase Achievements (2025-04-30)

From April 14 to 16, 2025, the second meeting of the International Detector Review Committee (IDRC) for the Circular Electron-Positron Collider (CEPC) was held at the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). The meeting began with a welcome address by IHEP Director Prof. Cao Jun. Also in attendance were Academician Wang Yifang, Chair of the CEPC Executive Committee, leaders of the overall project and detector systems, and over 70 research leads from IDRC and more than 20 domestic institutions. A review committee comprising 19 internationally renowned scientists and technical experts from 11 countries, including China, the UK, Germany, France, Canada, the USA, Japan, Switzerland, Slovenia, Spain, and Italy, chaired by Prof. Daniela Bortoletto from the University of Oxford, conducted in-depth evaluation and exchange on the progress of CEPC detector research.
